Friends

Lauren has lots of friends.  There's Emma, Brinley and Kenna from school.  Also, Lexi, Elizabeth, Owen and many others from The Mom's group.  And of course, her cousins, Sophia and Connor.

Recently Connor came over to visit Lauren.  For Lauren, this is a BIG deal.  She waits by the window waiting for Melissa's car to pull up.  Then, she pretty much freaks out and starting squealing with excitement when he arrives.  She can hardly contain herself by the time he walks up the stairs and into our house.

While Connor comes to visit we try do all kinds of exciting things, but mostly Connor enjoys looking at Lauren's book selection and playing with her latest toy.  This allows mom to sit back, sip on some java and watch.  Of course there is the occasional disagreement over a toy in which I have to intervene.  (Lately the cash register is a hot item) And there's always the street sweeper that allows for an exciting diversion.  Here are some of my favorites from Connor's recent visit.
